Task list (Portfolio)

This screen shows in one grid the tasks of every project in the portfolio. It is the cross-cutting view you open to spot delays or to find what one person carries across several projects.

Reach it from the Task list menu of a project portfolio.

The columns

The columns are the fields of the Task entity — the same as in a project's task list, plus the originating project. You will find the name, the description, start and end dates, status, progress, work and remaining work, the person in charge, the deadline and the baseline fields.

Which columns are actually shown is chosen in View settings → Column management: the full list of task fields is long, and the screen only shows a selection.

An administrator can add their own columns through custom fields.

Project actions

Clicking a project name opens an action menu.

✏️ General project attributesOpens a quick edit panel: name, dates, status, priority and the other fields of the General tab of the project definition. The 💾 button saves, ✕ closes without saving. A read-only project opens in consultation mode, with no save button

The project name is also clickable in the Scenario panel on the left.

The Esc key closes the menu, then the edit panel.

Filtering and grouping

The grid is a data grid: everything goes through the columns.

  • Filter — every column has its filter, from text to number to dates. That is how you isolate a status, a person in charge or a period.
  • Group — drag a column header into the grouping bar at the top of the grid. Grouping by Project gives one section per project; by In charge, the who-does-what view; by Status, a reading close to a kanban. Several grouping levels combine.
  • Scenario — the funnel button opens the project selector and narrows the scope. An orange badge on the button shows the number of unticked projects, hence missing from the list.
No predefined filters

There is no "Late" button, no "My tasks" switch, no dedicated period selector: those readings are obtained by filtering the matching columns. Once the combination is found, save it as a favourite to replay it in one click.

View settings

The ⚙️ button opens three tabs:

  • Column management — which columns, in which order. The available fields are sorted alphabetically in your language; you add, remove and reorder them by dragging and dropping between the two lists, as described for the task list;
  • Display — the display options;
  • Project hierarchy management — how projects are organised in the view. One criterion at a time: to change it, drop the new field onto the current criterion, which then goes back to the left-hand list.

Exporting

The download icon offers Excel (.xlsx) and CSV (.csv), over the displayed columns and the current scope.

No bulk editing

This grid is a consultation and export view. You do not reassign an owner nor shift dates for several tasks at once here: those operations happen in the project concerned, from the Planning (which has a project shift) or the task list.
