Resource portfolio (team)
The resource portfolio offers a consolidated view of your teams' workload and capacity across every project. It groups resources that collaborate on a daily basis (a business team, a competence center, a department) and exposes dedicated screens to steer their activity.
Resource portfolio screens
| Screen | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Definition | Team identity and composition (attached resources) |
| Members | Portfolio sharing (Owner, Reader) and roles propagated to projects |
| Workload | Consolidated workload plan — anticipate over-allocations and gaps |
| Activity | Horizontal timeline — who does what, and when |
| Timesheet | Consolidation and validation of the team's timesheets |
| Leave | Recording and tracking absences (direct capacity impact) |
| Actuals | Plan vs actual based on approved timesheets |
| Resource list | Exportable table view with bulk actions |
| Team cards | Consolidated Kanban of every card across the team's projects |
Key concepts
- A team ≠ a project. The resource portfolio aggregates people; the project portfolio aggregates projects. The same person can belong to multiple teams.
- Capacity = calendar − leave. A resource's plannable workload is their gross capacity (from the Calendar) reduced by absences.
- Plan vs actual. Activity tracking relies on two flows: allocations (planned) and approved timesheets (actual). Both are compared on Actuals.
