Resource portfolio members
A resource portfolio (team) groups resources whose workload and capacity you track. As with a project portfolio, it is shared from the Members tab, with two levels of rights:
- The role on the portfolio itself — who can view or administer the resource portfolio.
- The role propagated to projects — rights granted in bulk on the projects the resources are associated with.
Sharing the portfolio
- Open the resource portfolio
- Go to the Members tab
- Click "+ Add a member"
- Pick the user and assign a role
- Save
1. Roles on the resource portfolio
👑 Portfolio owner
The administration role. The Owner can:
- Manage the portfolio (definition, views, workload filters)
- Change the portfolio members
- Add resources to the portfolio
- Access projects according to the definition of their members
👁️ Reader
The consultation role. The Reader can view the portfolio and its projects in read-only, with no editing — ideal for a manager who follows their team's workload without touching the planning.
2. Roles propagated to projects
As with project portfolios, you can grant a role that applies to all projects linked to the portfolio. These rights are additive: the effective role on a project is the maximum between its own role and the one granted through the portfolio.
| Role | What it grants on the linked projects |
|---|---|
| 🛡️ Projects admin | Full administration of the projects |
| 👤 Project leader | Full operational control of the projects |
| 👁️ Projects reader | Read-only access to the projects |
Where a project portfolio consolidates projects, a resource portfolio consolidates resources (a team). The roles above determine who can administer the team portfolio and, where relevant, access the projects these resources are allocated to.

Give the Reader role to managers who only need to follow their team's workload, and reserve Owner for the people who actually drive the portfolio's composition.
