My timesheet
The My timesheet screen is your time entry tool. You declare the time spent on each project and each task for the current period.
Reached through the Me → My timesheet menu.
The entry grid
The grid shows:
- As rows: the projects and tasks you are assigned to
- As columns: the days or weeks of the period (depending on the periodicity defined in Settings → Timesheet)
For each cell, enter the time spent, as:
- Percentage of your day
- Hours (h:mm format)
- Man-days (MD or half-MD)
Add a row
If a task does not appear on the grid:
- Click + Add a row
- Choose a project among those you have access to
- Select the task (and optionally the sub-task)
- Enter values in the week's cells
If you can't find an expected project, check with its project manager that you are assigned to at least one of its tasks.
Submit
Once entry is complete, click Submit the week (or month). Your timesheet then moves to "Submitted" status and is sent for validation to your manager or project manager, depending on the configured workflow.
Possible statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Entry in progress, editable |
| Submitted | Sent for validation, no longer editable without reverting to draft |
| Approved | Accepted by the validator, feeds project actuals |
| Rejected | Rejected with a reason — fix and re-submit |
Comments
Each row accepts a free-form comment, useful to clarify the context of an entry ("urgent mission", "internal training", "committee meeting"). The comment is visible to the validator.
Useful views
- Calendar — Compact monthly view of entries
- Summary — Total declared per project over the period
- History — Past periods, statuses and variances
Best practices
- Enter daily or weekly: reconstructing a month from memory is inaccurate and time-consuming.
- Don't exceed your capacity: if the sum exceeds your theoretical working time, you over-declare and distort analyses.
- Read the rejection reasons: they tell you the entry conventions expected by your organisation.
